Coming this August 5th to Sam Boyd Stadium, the World Football Challenge with Real Madrid playing Juventus FC.  While there have been professional basketball and hockey here in Las Vegas; this is the first time that a significant soccer game played in Las Vegas.

Real Madrid, just clinched it record 32nd trophy in La Liga, Spain’s premier league; while Juventus captured its 28th title in eerie A, Italy’s top league.  These two teams have met 14 times each being victorious seven times.  Both teams are obligated to bring their “A” players barring injury.

While Las Vegas isn’t really known for it’s sporting events, this will be a nice change of pace from the normal over the top nightclubs and Vegas shows.
